New Tool for Herbal Treatment
PainEDU is excited to present a new interactive tool for clinicians. The tool provides useful and practical information for clinicians about 24 herbs which are used for the treatment of pain. Each herb is presented individually along with its known scientific efficacy and side effects.
Based on the article co-authored by Judith Paice, Ph.D., R.N, the table which formed the basis for this tool, and its accompanying references, are presented in printable format. Judith Paice, Ph.D., R.N.is the current President of the Board of Directors of the American Pain Society and a prolific author on the topic of pain.
Her article, the basis for this interactive tool on herbal treatment for pain, was published in Pain Management Nursing in 2005.
