Experienced nurses (mentors) are connected with new nurses (mentees) to offer guidance and support. Mentors encourage, motivate, and educate mentees through this special relationship, giving mentees an opportunity to:

• Ask practice questions
• Seek career advice
• Acclimate to their new roles
• Become a more confident and capable nurse

AMSN members who have less than 2 years of professional nursing experience are invited to become mentees and connect with an experienced nurse clinician for guidance and support.
